“Installer UI Mode Error” for ALM 15.0.1

Hello, I am installing ALM 15.0.1 and I am getting an error when launching the installer. “Installer UI Mode Error” Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported” UAC is turned off, DEP is turned off. Antivirus is uninstalled and I am using a local admin dedicated account. Any help getting past this error is appreciated.

Hello Homerj, On the Supported Environments page for ALM 15 ( found here: https://admhelp.microfocus.com/documents/alm/alm-qc-system-requirements.htm# ) there is the following reference for the issue you are receiving when installing on Windows Server 2019:
Before installing ALM on Microsoft Windows Server 2019, follow the recommendations as described in the "Installing ALM: Windows" section of the Installation and Upgrade Guide for Windows. The issue basically explains how to create a System Environment Parameter that tells the system to mimic and report as the Windows Server 2016 environment, so the install can be completed and then mentions removal after the inistallation to return to regular operation.
I have used this procedure to correct the error you are reporting/experiencing and it rectified the issue. Hope this helps, Dan Marked as spam
