From the HP Quality Center 10.00 Patch 12 Readme: Software version: 10.00 Patch 12 / 7 May 2010 Microsoft SQL Server 2008 MS SQL Server 2008 SP1 x64 is now supported. To enable MS SQL Server 2008: To create new project: Add parameter in SA: ALLOW_NON_SUPPORTED_DB_VERSION=Y To upgrade project: Comment line: (<!-- ENTRY VALUE="com.mercury.qc.dbverify.tasks.DBSupportedCheckTask" -->) inside 2 files: C:Program Files (x86)HPQuality CenterrepositorysaDomsInfoMaintenanceDataconf verify_tasks_deep.xml and verify_tasks_basic.xml To install QC: Runs installation with parameter: setup.exe -W dbValidatorSequence.active=false Limitations: * There is no support for the following extensions: BPTEE, APM, CIT, EI and STM. Defect 90276: Sql2008EE: Cannot enable extension for project on 2008.

Hi, We are aslo looking at the option of upgrading our OS from win server 2003 to win server 2008. Will this have any impact on Quality center? we are running Qc 10 patch 7 on SQL 2005 database. will this mean we have to patch qc?
