When uninstalling LoadRunner 12.53 Patch 4 from LoadRunner products such as LoadRunner Full installation, we are getting the following message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" with a request to provide the installation file that was used to install the LoadRunner product.

The LoadRunner 12.53 Patch 4 installation wizard included a modified dialog recommending to upgrade Network Virtualization products installed on the same machine that integrate with LoadRunner products.

This changed some files that could only be retrieved from the installation file used to install the product, and the changes cannot be restored by the patch uninstall mechanism.

To uninstall the patch, you must provide the path of the installation file used for installing the LoadRunner product (a file with an *.msi extension). If you cannot find the appropriate installation file for your installed products, contact Orasi Support or HPE Support.

For LoadRunner standalone products such as LGSA and VuGen, the installation file (with *.msi extension) is wrapped into an executable package. To retrieve the installation file from the executable package, you must extract the executable using a decompression program such as 7zip, WinZip, or WinRAR, and then retrieve the installation file from the decompressed content.
