LoadRunner Generator shows popup message with disk quota error

We are currently using LoadRunner Professional 12.63 on a VM machine with Windows 10. We have a scenario with multiple scripts / groups/ and it was working fine for many weeks. Starting today, we get a popup message with disk quota error from one of our Load Generators. We checked all load generators and controllers and there is plenty of free disk space. Has anyone else experienced this issue. Any input would be great.

The disk quota error is a Windows Operating system error and not a LoadRunner Professional error. It appears that the Load Generator(s) have a disk quota enabled. On the Load Generator(s) VM's, please try the following:

  • Within the VM, open the File Explorer
  • Locate the correct hard drive
  • Right click on the hard drive and select properties
  • On the Local Disk Properties dialog select the "Quota" tab
  • Verify if the Quota management option is either enabled or disabled. If enabled, disable it

If the above does not mitigate the issue, this is a Windows issue and you will need to work with your Windows Administration team to resolve the issue.
