Recorded a web script using LoadRunner 11 patch 3 against a web application and during replay of the test, we are getting an error in the runtime viewer. Currently using Windows 7 32 bit OS and IE 8. All caching is turned off in the runtime settings of LoadRunner. IE 8 is set to accept all cookies and allow session id(s) and still receiving the error posted below after rerecording the script and replaying the script.

Error In Run-time Viewer:**strong text**

"Your Browser’s cookie functionality is turned off. In order to use the application, change your browser settings to accept session cookies"

Any thoughts?

The LoadRunner run-time view is a very scaled down version of a web browser. It works correctly for core html; however, it will often fail when processing java script. dot net and asp embedded scripts and operations. I recommend that, for this application, that you turn off the run-time view and use the output log and test result **view option** to check for proper operation. Additionally, I highly recommend that you upgrade your instance of LoadRunner to Version 11.5 with service pack 1.

If you continue to have issues, update this forum and I will try to assist.
