Microsoft Edge browser and UFT 12.54?

I just installed UFT 12.54, but it doesn’t seem to work correctly with Microsoft Edge like it did before…having a hard time recognizing my Edge objects consistently. I tried a Repair on UFT to no avail. Is this a regression bug or something?

UFT 12.54 has changed the way that the Microsoft WebDriver program is used. 1) **First, make sure you perform all Microsoft Windows 10 updates.** 2) Download the correct version of the WebDriver for your Microsoft Edge version: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/ 3) Place the downloaded WebDriver.exe and place in your bin directory. 4) Rename WebDriver.exe to MicrosoftWebDriver.exe 5) Start the Edge Agent for Functional Testing (Start > All apps > HP Software > Edge Agent for Functional Testing) 6) Make sure you start UFT first before opening the Edge browser Full details are here: http://uft-help.saas.hpe.com/en/12.54/UFT_Help/Content/Addins_Guide/Edge_Extension_Setup.htm Marked as spam
