We are currently planning to move our current ALM-PC SQL Server database to a new server to upgrade the SQL server. We are not changing the database name, just moving/migrating database. What step will need to be done in our ALM-PC environment to be successful.

If the ALM Database is moved/migrated and the ALM Database machine name does not change, do the following:

• On the ALM server, stop the Application Lifecycle Management Service

• On the PC server, stop IIS

• Once the ALM Database has been moved/migrated to its new location, reboot the ALM server and PC Server

• Log into Lab Management and reconfigure the PC server(s) and all PC Hosts

• Run a System Health Check to ensure that the ALM-PC environment is working properly
