I’m trying to use the LeanFT Object Identification Center to spy on an object inside a drop-down list. I can’t figure out how to get it to drop-down then spy because as soon as the mouse leaves the object to click on the "Start Spying" button, the drop-down closes.

As with QTP and UFT before, all you need to do to pause spying with the Object Identification Center (OIC) is press the CTRL key. So, to spy on the internal objects of the drop-down:

- Click Start Spying
- Hold down the CTRL key
- Use the mouse to open the drop-down
- Release the CTRL key
- Spy on the internal object.

Ah, yes, I now remember doing that with QTP back in the day. Thanks for the reminder!
