Object are not getting recognized if desktop is minized

QTP is not recognizing the WPF objects when the desktop is minized. Batch execution is triggered from ALM on a VM. The Virtual machines will be locked and left to run in an unattended mode. At a particular satge, a WPF window opens and QTP is not recognizing the window if the VM is minized. It is not able to perform any actions on the WPF objects. But, it is working fine if VM is open and not locked.
PLease confirm whether wpf objects are location based objects and will only be recognized if VM is open. At times, QTP hangs when it comes to WPF objects when VM is locked.
MIC report and application screenshots are attached. Let me know if you need more information.

HP does states locked or non-logged are not supported on QTP 11 and UFT 11. This because the screen, mouse and keyboard functions are locked out by the Operating System and HP. Please see documents KM185060 and QCCR1J63292

QTP 11 does not allow remote testing when the RDP connection is closed. It is recommend to keep the RDP session running while testing See KM185060 and KM1166732 for reference information (attached to the case.)

Also UFT 11.53 has introduced the ability to Continue Running GUITests on a Remote Computer After Disconnecting if you would like to upgrade to UFT. Path to the document in HP Help.
What's New in UFT 11.53?> Product Enhancements> New in 11.53> GUI Testing> Continue Running GUI Tests on a Remote Computer After Disconnecting
