ALM – Object Locked by: User name

Hi, While working on QTP integrated with ALM, We are facing issue of object locked by : ‘another user name’. We get this error while uploading any excel file within ALM. We use temporary solution for it – Another user(name on error popup) do logout and Login. But I want to know reason behind this error and permanent solution on it.

Hello Alankar, when ''another Username'' is finished uploading the excel file please have them move to a different object in ALM/QC. If you are not using version control objects automatically lock when highlighted in the ALM/QC UI. This is to prevent Editing the same object, at the same time, by 2 different users. Marked as spam
