Password Masked

I’m using QTP 10. I have a test case that asks me to validate that the password in the password field is masked. Any suggestions?

Have you tried bitmap checkpoint? Recommend doing Bitmap Checkpoint with selective capture of only the first six characters and adjusting the tolerance. For testing I did RGB to 80% and Pixel Tolerance to 80%. Marked as spam
