Performance Center Host vs Standalone Load Generator software?

In our ALM/PC 12.55 environment, machines that will be used as Load Generators, should we install the PC Host software or the Standalone Load Generator software?

If the machine that will be used as an LG is in the same domain as your ALM/PC environment or has no Firewalls, it is recommends installing the PC Host software, due to the fact you cannot install the Standalone VuGen software and the Standalone Load Generator software on the same machine. However, a host that is located over a firewall or is a UNIX host can be used with the Standalone Load Generator software only. Marked as spam
