Proper way to backup synchronizer links?

What is the proper way to backup synchronizer links? We are moving our synchronizer server to another machine for a qc upgrade and are moving the links one by one as the projects are converted to QC 11.52, what is the proper way to move the links over.

On the old synchronizer server, right click the link and select ''Export'' then click ''Link Data Into Backup File...'' Copy the link data from C:Program FilesHPHP ALM Synchronizerbackup then move the link into the same directory on the new synchronizer server, on the new synchronizer server click the link at the top and select ''Create From'' and then select ''Link Backup File'' and point to the link you are moving. Once the link is moved over make sure that the link is disabled on the old sync server before enabling it on the new sync server. Marked as spam
