QC 10 on Windows 7 without admin rights?

We are using QC 10 on XP machines, no need for admin rights for new or existing users, we just send them the QC URL, the 42 initial files load and they are on their way. On Windows 7 machines, we cannot start QC without full admin rights. HP support has been no help, they just repeat that the manual says that you need admin rights. Has anyone figured this out? We cannot just give everyone admin rights, we need to get QC working on Windows 7 machines like it is currently working in XP.

The problem is that this requires a visit from deskside support - and for them to use a support admin ID. For hundreds of users, and often many new QC users each day, this is impractical. ''Regular'' users at this company (and most big companies I suppose) do not have admin rights to thier machine. I have just found out that in our current XP installation regular users are in the ''power users'' group, that is why we currently can use QC without admin rights. Does anyone know how to duplicate this in Windows 7? Marked as spam

You could create an MSI and push it out to the users and have a group policy in place to allow that MSI to install. Only work around that I would know of. Marked as spam
