QC/ALM11 SP3 (Patch 08) – Sprinter Page disappears from Project Customization after choosing Manual Runner

I’m running QC/ALM11 with SP3 (Patch 08). In Project Customization, on the Sprinter Page, I selected Manual Runner and saved/exited. Now, when I go back into Project Customization, the Sprinter Page has disappeared, and I am now unable to choose between Manual Runner and Sprinter! What’s the deal??

This is a bug introduced in SP3 (Patch 08). HP doesn't plan to officially fix it until ALM11.5 (which hopefully just means Service Pack 5). In the meantime, here is a workaround to force back the ''Both Manual Runner and Sprinter'' option and thus make the Sprinter Page appear again under Project Customization: From the affected project's COMMON_SETTINGS table, delete the record where CSET_CATEGORY = 'Sprinter'. In Site Administrator, in the Site Projects tab, expand the tables under the affected project, select the COMMON_SETTINGS table, and execute the following SQL command: DELETE FROM COMMON_SETTINGS WHERE CSET_CATEGORY = 'Sprinter' Marked as spam
