Question on UFT Recording

Hello – trying to record scripts with UFT for a web application. The application has smart fields, which, when you start typing, will pop open options for the field based on text entered so far. When you select one of the options, UFT is not appearing to record which option is selected. I can provide screen shots and the recording. This is PHP code. Is there a limitation with UFT for this functionality?

There are some web page tool kit that use a dynamic page design where UFT can not capture the objects or their events. In these case it is recommend to use a custom solution for coding the interactions. HP has a document ([KM186906](https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/KM186906)) that describes how to interact with object with this behavior. This document has several options that are list. I normally recommend the following the below order to attempt interact with objects. 1.
