In the Requirement area of HP-QC11 – the Requirement is showing as "Not Covered" under the Direct Cover Status column.
We reviewed all requirements within that folder and all requirements are showing as "Passed" Why would the Requirement folder reflect Not Covered when all other (child requirements) are reflecting Passed?

For the ''trouble'' Requirement (or folder) what do you have when you look on the ''test coverage'' tab (when you open the requirement in a ''form'')?
If the test coverage table/list is empty, you will get ''Not Covered'' instead of a test status.

In the Requirement module, everything is a ''requirement'', they are designated with different ''Requirement Types'' like Folder, Group, Functional Requirement, and Testing Requirement.

Also, each Requirement type has a ''Test Coverage'' (does it participate in test coverage) checkbox. Folders, for example do NOT participate.

Each requirement has it's OWN coverage, and coverage does not ''roll-up'' to the parent object.
