Sprinter 12.01 freezes when you hit pause during test recording

In Sprinter 12.01, I have noticed if I hit pause during test recording of design steps, the application essentially is frozen at this point. You can't save or progress your work, and requires termination through task manager.

Hello, This is known issue with Sprinter 12.01. Solutions are to either upgrade to ALM 12.20 (or now 12.50 if applicable for your version of ALM) if supported by your version of ALM. Or contact HP to get private patch 00028.exe which contains a fix for this very issue. HP did not publicly release patch 28, so the only way to get the patch is to go through HP directly. Given the HP route, I would suggest looking into upgrading Sprinter versions. If you wish to share your version of ALM and patch level, I can let you know if you are supported for Sprinter 12.20 or 12.50. Marked as spam
