Sprinter image save for test step visibility issue in ALM 11.52

We use Sprinter 11.52 quite a bit and are know of the test step image capture issue where ALM is not able to see the images. We also read up on patch 25 that should fix but it does not seem to for ALM 11.52 after it was applied. With Sprinter 12.01 now out, is that an option to have this lack of images seen in ALM corrected?

Hello, Sprinter 12.01 by default will not save the images to ALM 11.52 with visible attachments. Same as with seen in Sprinter 11.52. There are some workaround though. There is a flag that is added to Sprinter 11.52 if on public patch 25. The flag lives in the Sprinter.exe.config file (located in your Sprinter install directory). Edit the file and look for the DuplicateStepSnapshotAsAttachment key. Change its value to True and save the edit. Relaunch Sprinter and ALM 11.52 should then show the attachments in the UI. ( Also of note, is that in ALM 12.01, they have added a new Sprinter setting under Project Customization where you can enable the save of snapshots per step there and it will in turn enable the flag essentially without any need for edit. ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/211-sprintalm12.png Marked as spam
