The tray icon always shows the wrong state for HP ALM?

Hello,
The tray icon that shows the status of the HP ALM services always shows as not working in our Windows server. Is this to be expected and should we worry if it isn’t reporting correctly? Everything seems to be working normally on the server otherwise.

Thanks,
HomerJ

Hello HomerJ,
The user that is logged into on the HP ALM application server is the user that will be used for the services and for the services to tray icon to operate correctly: That user needs to have full admin rights on all the folder and system in order to prevent the tray icon issue you have described.

Hope this helps,
Dan
