Transferring repository path to a new location in ALM

Hello,
We are planning to move the repository to a new external storage location. We are planning on mirroring the drive after shutting down the services. We will name the drive and map the same as the previous smaller drive so the location within the repository will remain the same as what it was previous.

Our question is, would the above be sufficient or will we need to do anything further.

Thanks,
HomerJ

Hello HomerJ,
I would also recommend that you remove and restore the projects within the Siteadmin to insure that everything is connecting as expected. Your plan should work, but I would also recommend the extra step of removing (and remove do not delete as that will remove all traces of the schema and repository) and restoring as this insures that the projects have connected back up correctly and are for sure reading the repository information correctly.

Hope this helps,
Dan
