UFT 15 Replace String Activity causes script not to run and no results generated

In UFT 15 for our API tests, the Replace String activity causes the script not to run and no results are generated. Simplest way to reproduce is to open a new API test (note we found this when testing for an upgrade from 14.5x to 15.0 with existing tests using this activity) •Add from Standard Activities – Sting Manipulation – Replace string as step Test does not run and errors. Run Results for this session are not available. Any ideas how to fix this?

We had this same problem. Micro Focus provided us a hotfix for it, but it is included in UFT One 15.0.1, so if you upgrade it will work properly. Marked as spam
