UFT keeps closing when I run from ALM/QC

When I run an automated test from ALM, UFT opens on my host, runs the test, but then closes when the test run is done. Is there any way to change this?

Yes, you'll need to change this via a setting in Remote Agent on your UFT host machine. Look in your system tray and see if Remote Agent is already running. If it isn't, open by going to Windows > Start > All Programs > HP Software > HP Unified Functional Testing > Tools > Remote Agent. Once it's running, right-click the system tray icon and select Settings. In the ''Remote Agent Settings'' dialog window, check ''Keep UFT open after a Test Lab run session ends'' and click OK. UFT will now stay open when your test run is done. Marked as spam

Closing UFT after ALM runs might be a good thing because it allows UFT to clear environmental memory. Marked as spam
