This just started happening when I upgraded to Windows 10. I used to be able to leave UFT running a long script on my test machine and it would run overnight just fine. I didn’t lock it or anything.

Now when I do this in Windows 10, UFT is closed (along with any other applications I had running) and this happens when I let it run overnight and check it the next day.

Windows 10 has some weird things that it does to try to be 'helpful', and the resource exhaustion monitor is one of them. You can try the following and see if it helps:

1. Run gpedit.msc from the Run box in Windows 10. Right-click the Start menu to find the Run command.

2. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Troubleshooting and Diagnostics > Windows Resource Exhaustion Detection and Resolution.

3. Modify the value so that it's set to Detect and not anything else.

I've learned that the Group Policy Editor for Windows 10 is only available in the Pro edition. However, you can try downloading and installing it following the steps below and this should make it available in other versions as well:

Download link: [https://www.itechtics.com/?ddownload=18248][1]

(*Note: This is a 3rd party website)

If you have 32-bit Windows (x86) then the setup should install smoothly without any problems and you should be able to access the Group Policy Editor through the Microsoft Management Console by going to Run -> gpedit.msc. But if you have 64-bit Windows (x64) then you will need some extra steps after running the installer. Follow the steps below after running the installer:

Go to C:WindowsSysWOW64 folder
Copy the following folders and files to C:WindowsSystem32
''GroupPolicy'', ''GroupPolicyUsers'' and gpedit.msc.

This will make sure that you can run the editor from the Run dialog.
