Reference Mangement of Test Result
I found in the User Guide options to limit test results to only those that fail and the means to change the reports level of detail but I did not see a purging option. Hence I suspect there is no issue with just cleaning out the previous runs. I do know that in the action to create a test case and with the repeated starting and stopping the test runs, it can generate a lot of test run logs. Almost want a means to differentiate an actual Test Run and when I am in the act of developing a test case.
Can you please help explain the differences and how to manage them so we don’t have large files in our folders

Yes, here is how you can delete specific test run results:

1) Open Run Results Viewer (there should be a shortcut on your Desktop on a machine that has UFT and/or the UFT for ALM Plugin installed).

2) If you are wanting to delete run results stored in ALM, in Run Results Viewer, go to Tools > ALM Connection > connect to your ALM/QC server.

3) Once your ALM/QC connection is established in Run Results Viewer, go to Tools > Run Results Delection Tool.

4) In the Run Results Deletion Tool, click the Browse button to open either local or ALM/QC-stored tests. You may then select and delete whichever test run results you see fit.

5) Additional details may be found in the Run Results Viewer User Guide (UFT/RRV Help > Run Results Viewer User Guide).
