UIA Object Spy not working on Remote machine?

Running UFT 15.0.2 on Windows 10 on my local machine, I’m able to use the UI Automation Add-in’s Object Spy on my Windows Event Viewer, seeing all of the objects within. When I try the same thing on a remote machine (also UFT 15.0.2 on our off-site team’s Windows 2016 Datacenter Edition), it doesn’t work an all I can spy is the window. Is this maybe a limitation of the Datacenter Edition of the Windows Server OS or something? Any ideas?

Try running the remote machine's UFT as administrator. Your remote connection is most likely not using a profile with the correct permissions for either UFT, your application, or both. Running as Administrator will ensure all permissions are elevated & thus on the same level. Marked as spam
