Unable to connect UFT to ALM

I get an error message when trying to connect UFT 12.01 to our ALM server on a new machine we have built out.

1) Close UFT.

2) From your Windows 8.1 Desktop, open IE as administrator (right-click IE > Run as Administrator) and navigate to your ALM Tools.

3) From the ALM Tools page, select ''HP ALM Connectivity'' and download/run on the affected client machine. You should receive an ''Installation Successful'' message.

4) From the ALM Tools page, select ''HP ALM Client Registration'' and ''Register HP ALM.''

5) Log into your ALM Client to make sure that works.

6) Run UFT as administrator (this just needs to be done the first time when connecting to ALM).

7) Try to connect to ALM and see if the problem persists.
