Unable to Initialize QC COM Object Using VB Script in 64 bit OS for ALM?

Hello,
We are unable to run our QC scripts to update the Test Lab run status, as the script when run throws the error: "ActiveX component can’t create object".

We were and still able to run the scripts in 32bit OS machines, but since upgrading users to a 64 bit OS machine, the script throws the above error when run.

The line in question is we have narrowed the issue down to is the following:

Set?tdc?=CreateObject("tdapiole80.tdconnection")

Thanks for any recommendations and assistance,
HomerJ

Hi, HomerJ,
Have you made sure that the cleint is registered on the systems (this can be done through the Add-Ins Page> HP ALM Client Registration heirarchy. Once registered, can you then try to run the script through the command line using the following: C:> C:WindowsSysWOW64cscript.exe ''
