User does not exist error for a valid ALM user

Suddenly, I can’t login to ALM, even though my user name is valid and shows up in Site Administration. I am getting a ‘User does not exist error. What could be wrong?

GoDawgs, I have seen this before. In Site Administration, please do a 'Verify' on your project. It should show you there are problems that will be fixed by the 'Repair' tool. Then, run the 'Repair' on your project. Now, you should be able to login again. I hope this helps. Marked as spam

I have seen this issue occur several times in the past where there was something odd with the user account and removal from the project and re-addition to the project corrected the issue. In the extreme instance the user had to be removed from the entire ALM instance through Site Administration access and then re-added to the ALM instance and all projects originally a user of.
