We are on ALM 11.52 patch 1, when we run an automated test suite we want execution summary results to be sent when the test set is through running. So we setup the execution summary report to be sent whenever the test set is executed, we set this up under the automation tab by selecting the "Send summary of results after test set execution" we have a valid user with a valid email address in the To field but we get the error:

"Message with test set execution report was not sent to user ! Check that user has a valid e-mail address."
