I have seen this before usualy it is not directly related to ALM but it is actually related to McAfee creating issues with corrupting registry values for vb scripts I would send this link to your internal IT, this has a list of registry keys that the antivirus might have corrupted that they will need to address: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB86138 Marked as spam
