This is expected behavior for the application, when you convert a manual test to a UFT test the first time it is saved in UFT the ''Parameters'' in test plan are eliminated, this is because automated test parameters are not stored in ALM but in the UFT script itself, this is by design, an automated test should not use manual parameters so ALM removes them. You will notice that if you create a new UFT test directly in ALM, it does not allow you to add parameters in Test Plan. Adding test parameters to UFT tests must be done through UFT, parameters in UFT are added to the test and then passed down to the action level in UFT.
