When working in Tableau Desktop, zooming in and out of a viz does not seem to be working.

Hello! I am relatively new to Tableau so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I have a stacked bar chart where I am trying to zoom in to be able to compare bar lengths a little bit easier…when I hold down the control key and use my scroll wheel, like I do in other applications to zoom in or out, it just adjusts the axis and ends up looking like an equalizer on a stereo or something. I tried to turn on the “View Toolbar” that I use in maps to see if it would offer any assistance but it it seems to just change the scale of the axis by a greater amount. I would like to be able to potentially see maybe 10 bars on the screen at a time an still have the ability to scroll down the list. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Attachments:

Hello Chester. I know exactly what you mean! Often in web browsers and other applications I use the Control key + Mouse scoll wheel to zoom in and out of things. In Tableau Desktop it definitely can make a bar char look like the bars of an equalizer if you scroll in and out quickly. So a couple of things. The CTRL + scroll wheel and the view toolbar both do allow you to zoom in and out and change the scale of the axis or the width. What I think you want is to change the width of the height of the area for each value on Rows. There are two ways you can accomplish this:
