Why are there ”disabled” criteria boxes in some of the Defect Module Grid column headers?

In the grid view in the Defects module in QC11, the "Comments" (R&D Comments) & "Description" columns don’t allow typing in the header to set column filters (they are greyed out). Other columns including string fields do allow this, what is different about these two fields?

Sorry, that is just the way MEMO fields behave in the grid. Marked as spam
