WPF elements in component not being identified by UFT when running BPT test?

So, I’m working with a BPT component that I authored with ALM and UFT. When I’m recording, object identification seems to work correctly. When I run the BPT test, UFT all of a sudden cannot identify my AUTs WPF components (it sees the Window, but nothing else). This is wreaking havoc on my test flow that contains multiple components with different technologies (.NET and WPF). Any ideas? Thanks!

Try these steps and see if it helps:

1) First open the *application area* of your BPT component (and check it out, if applicable).

2) Select ''Additional Settings and Applications'' on the Windows Application area.

3) Add your AUT.

4) Make sure your AUT instance is closed before UFT starts (or use SystemUtil.Run in your component to open the AUT).

That seemed to do the trick. Just needed to add my AUT in the application area!
