This is a known issue when running AutoPass 8.3 along with UFT 12.52 and using RunAPITest.
1) Update your AutoPass license server software to the latest version. You will be updating from AutoPass 8.3 to 9.3.1:
-Download AutoPass 9.3.1 and unzip locally to your license server machine:
https://marketplace.saas.hpe.com/itom/content/autopass-license-server
*When upgrading, follow BOTH the 'HPE AutoPass License Server Migration.pdf' and 'Upgrade_To_AutoPass_License_Serverv9.3.1.docx' documents.
2) If you are unable to update your AutoPass server machine, then on your affected UFT12.52 client(s):
-Replace below files on bin folder with these specific files (reference KM02324418):
AutopassNCommon.dll
AutopassNCore.dll
AutopassNCrypto.dll
AutopassNUsageStore.dll
3) Choose one of the following workaround options from KM02055776:
Option 1: use a seat or commuter license instead of concurrent, if possible.
Option 2: follow these steps for special configuration of input/output parameters:
Special configuration of input/output parameters:
a. Create an API Test and add the same number of input/output parameters as the action.
b. Add a 'Call to API Action or Test' element to the flow from the toolbox.
c. Select APITest1's Action1.
d. Link the action input and output parameters to the API Test parameters.
e. Call this API Test from the GUI Test instead of calling the Action directly:
RunAPITest ''APITest2'',inputParameter,apiOutput
