Is there a way to force users to have password format

how can i force users in alm to have a password of 10 characters in length with one uppercase, one lowercase, one special character and give the user an error when this password format is not met so the user can change chosen password to accommodate the format ? thanks

I am not aware of any way to enforce the users to meet certain password requirements using regular Quality Center authentication. I would suggest looking in to enabling LDAP on the ALM server, this would allow you to use LDAP to take care of password requirements.

This will show you how to connect ALM to your LDAP server, at your organization you probably have some kind of LDAP admin that can help you with setting up ALM to use LDAP, you probably already have LDAP setup.
