Action Not using object repository

I have created an object repository with all the objects in the web page. Then I created a new action and associated the object repository created with the new action. When i record the objects from the web page, it creates new objects with an extension of _2. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks

If it is creating new objects with an extension of _2 it means that the objects that you associated with your new action do not match with the website. Try checking the properties of the old objects against the newly created objects for the differences and try to use regular expressions in those properties that are different. This should help QTP identify these items more reliably. Marked as spam
