Actual values not ”sticking” in execution settings

We have some API tests that we are running from HPE’s ALM, the tests have parameters and before we run the test we copy the values from the default value to the actual value column under "Execution Settings" under "Test Instance Details" but when we change the actual values and save them, then when we open the test instance details again the actual values are gone, the values don’t want to "stick."

I have seen this happen before, in our case it only occured for certain users, if this is the case you should be able to remove the user from the ALM project that is affected via site admin then re-add the user to the project, this resets the users common settings for that project which seems to be the cause of this issue.
