After renaming UFT actions, name is not updated in the call to the action

When we rename a reusable action, it does not change the name in tests that call it. Steps to reproduce: Create a UFT test and create reusable action “Action1” The second UFT test still has the action named “Action1” in the folder “External Action” Since we had to rename every action to follow the new naming convention (31 characters and no square brackets) it is very confusing to still have the old action names in our tests. How can we force the tests to use the new names?

Unfortunately, the external action name is not changed in the calling Tests. To get the new name, you have to delete the calls from the calling test and then save it. After that you can call the external action again to get the new name. Marked as spam
