We have been introduced to the ALM Debug Console for our ALM 12.55 application and would like to know if there is a web page or other documentation that could be sent to us to help us understand some aspects of the information, particularly the Memory Monitor portion.

GoDawgs,

MicroFocus was consulted and the initial question of if there was documentation was answered quickly as no but then more questions were asked. Here are the questions and answers:
* Are the Used and Free numbers on the Memory Monitor a snapshot at the time the Debug Console web page is opened?

Yes, It is totally correct.

* Are the Initial and Maximum values when the system was first brought back online and the maximum configured memory available?

Yes, it is correct.

* Is the Committed number the maximum memory consumed from the time the system was started until the time the webpage was opened?

Not really, The Committed memory, is a measure of how much memory the JVM heap is really consuming in the guest.

the final question was then restated and answered as follows:
Can I assume the Committed memory is a also a snapshot value?
Yes, we can see it in that way, and it represents the amount of memory that is guaranteed to be available for use by the Java virtual machine.
