ALM Explorer is opening but I am unable to see it

I have installed ALM Explorer on windows 10. It installed fine, but when I open it, I get an icon in my tray but when I click on that icon it doesn’t open a window. Any clue what’s going on? Thanks!

I have seen this before when DPI scaling is in use. What you will need to do is the following...

Go to your client components folder, example: 'C:Users\AppDataLocalHPALM-Client12.53.2.0_952'.
Find 'ALM-Client' > Right Click it > Properties.
Go to 'Compatibility' tab > Select 'Override high DPI scaling behavior'.
Restart IE, if it was already running.

The ALM Explorer should now show up on the screen.
