ALM integration with GitLab

Hello. We are currently using ALM 12.21 on a Windows 2012 Server R2, and we wanted to find out if ALM has the ability to integrate with GitLab. I have found some information on the internet that suggests that GitLab should work with ALM, but I wanted to get a confirmation on this to make sure. I really appreciate any information that you can provide.

Micro Focus advises that ALM is compatible with GitLab 1.8.x and 2.1.x versions only. They do not support the GitLab application directly, so there isn't any internal documentation that they can provide. You will need to reach out to GitLab Team Support for further information or documentation.
