ALM server task bar icon

The ALM icon on the task bar is out of synch with the service. The service is currently up and running, but the icon states disconnected. Is there a way to correct this and get them back in synch without restarting the ALM service?

You can restart the trayicon application without restarting the ALM service. To do so:

1. Right click and exit from the tray icon.
2. Open registry editor and browse to

The value of the ALM Tray Icon registry key will be what needs to be executed in order to launch the tray application.

3. Launch a command prompt as admin and execute the command from the registry key.

4. The tray icon should now reappear and be in synch with your ALM service.

Is ClassName correct?
