There are no UFT add-ins for PDF support, and UFT does not have special support for working with Acrobat or .PDF files. HPE document [KM199334](https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/KM199334) describes how to work with PDFs. Please note that these documents state that the examples within are ''provided on an ''as is'' basis and is not part of QuickTest Professional. It is not guaranteed to work and is not supported by HP Customer Support.''

In addition to the above mentioned files, the User Guide, suggests using File Checkpoints for PDF documents.
