We are using AutoPass License Server 9.x and are receiving a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to navigate to the License Usage page. How can we fix this?

This is a corruption in the AutoPass database that is normally caused by attempting to connect certain versions of UFT and AutoPass that don't support each other, such as trying to connect to AutoPass 9.x with UFT 14.5x.

You can check and see what type of UFT clients have attempted to connect to your AutoPass License Server by navigating to the server's directory:

%ProgramData%HPHP AutoPass License ServerAutoPassLicenseServerdataconfpdfiles

or (depending on your version of AutoPass)

%ProgramData%autopassaplslicenseserverdataconfpdfiles

This directory will have a list of .pd files. The filenames will show the different versions of UFT that have attempted to connect to AutoPass.

At this point, you have two options to fix:

1) Upgrade to AutoPass 10.9.0. Please be aware only UFT 14.5x and up works with APLS 10.9.0 out-of-the-box. If you need backwards compatibility, ask your support representative.

or

2) Micro Focus does have a tool available to help fix the issue. Please contact support for this fix. Please note you will need to have Java installed on your AutoPass License Server Machine.
