We are unable to run BPT tests remotely, when we try to run the BPT tests on a remote machine from ALM we get this error "Cannot activate the Remote Execution server. Make sure the server is running and the Remote Agent is registered" What is weird is that we can run regular UFT gui scripted tests to that machine remotely but we get this error when we try to kick off a bpt test remotely…

Make sure that the remote machines all have ALM registered on them, if not you cannot run BPT tests the BPT remote agent is installed by registering the ALM client on the machine running UFT. On the UFT remote machine as well as the machine kicking off the tests, Navigate to: http://YourQCServer:8080/qcbin then click the Add ins/Tools page link. Now register the HP ALM Client, click the HP ALM Client Registration link from the add ins/tools page, then click ''Register HP ALM Client'' at the bottom of the page Marked as spam
