I am currently receiving the following error message when I select a UFT test in Test Lab, and click on the 'Test Scripts' tab in ALM.

"Cannot create Remote Agent. Check testing tool installation."

I am currently using ALM 12.01.141 with UFT 12.54.3256. I have registered the ALM Client on the UFT machine, and I have also verified that the ALM add-in is installed on the machine.

Receiving the ''Cannot create Remote Agent. Check testing tool installation'' error message when clicking on the 'Test Script' tab in Test Lab, leads me to believe that there is some sort of possible corruption with the connection between ALM and UFT. Try repairing the UFT to see if that resolves the issue. I have included a link to another of our Eye on Testing posts, that will walk you through the UFT repair process using command prompt. When you enter the command, press enter, and you should see an HP Unified Functional Testing progress window appear. Once the process completes, the UFT progress window should close automatically.

Once the repair process has completed, retest to see if the issue still occurs. I hope this helps!
