Should we be using ALM for this? I see ALM in my products list but I didn't think we had a license for that? Any experience ...

We have created a framework for our functional testing, when we try to go ahead and execute it from runtime engine it always opens up the UFT with it. When we got the license our understanding was that we don't need UFT to just run the scripts it can be done by runtime engine.
