Class not registered with ALM Explorer

Getting a Class Not Registered Error when trying to connect to ALM server via ALM Explorer. As soon you hit enter on the ALM url the error pops up. Hit Okay to the error and nothing then happens. Try enter again on url and repeat error.

Sounds like ALM Explorer was likely not installed with admin rights. Please check the HPLN page for install instructions, which can be found here: https://hpln.hp.com/page/hp-alm-explorer-add

Admin rights are required, and UAC disabled if possible (workaround for that is listed as well). Reinstall with admin rights as the above link illustrates should allow for successful opening of your ALM server with the ALM Explorer application without that particular error message.

That fixed it. Admin rights for install.
